Extended Access Clinics

Extended Access Banner

We recognise that sometimes it is difficult to access appointments during weekday working hours. We are now offering pre-bookable GP and Practice Nurse appointments at Hartfield Surgery every Wednesday between 6.30pm and 8pm, and one in six Saturdays between 8am and 12pm. Appointments will be offered as either virtual, telephone or face-to-face according to the needs of the patient and availability of the service.
Please note the reception team and telephone lines will not be open for general enquiries during Extended Access Clinics, however we are pleased to say there will be a full dispensing service.

In addition to this, telephone appointments are also available every Saturday afternoon. These appointments are being offered by teams from local GP practices in East Sussex who are working closely together to respond to the increased need for services.
By working together in this way, we aim to ensure that patients can have fast access to appointments and the care they need, at a time that works for them.
These appointments may be at your GP surgery, another GP surgery in the local area or via telephone consultation. If your appointment isn’t at the surgery, the person you speak to will have access to your medical records if you give them permission, just like seeing a locum. You will be asked before any of your information is accessed or shared.

These appointments can be booked by phoning our reception team, during normal opening hours. You can also contact 111 who can arrange enhanced access appointments when needed.
