Blood Test Results
You can view your test results through the NHS App. This is the quickest way to access your results once they have been reviewed.
If you are unable to use the NHS App, please contact the surgery after 3:00pm. Our Patient Services Team can only provide results that have already been reviewed by a clinician and marked as normal. They are not clinically trained and cannot interpret results.
For most patients, no follow-up is required for normal results. If you would like to discuss your results, please book a routine appointment. If results are urgent or require further action, the practice will contact you directly.
X-Rays & Scans
Results for X-rays and scans can take up to 2–3 weeks to be received at the surgery. Cervical screening results are issued centrally by the NHS Cervical Screening Programme and sent by letter.
Hospital Results
We do not have access to results for tests requested by hospitals or other community services. Please contact the service that arranged the test for your results. It can take time for hospital results to be added to your GP record.
Confidentiality
We will only release results to the person they concern unless prior consent has been given or the patient is unable to understand the information.
