Health in Mind is a free NHS service for East Sussex residents over 18 who are experiencing stress, anxiety or low mood. You can self-refer through the website.


Sussex MSK Partnership East (SMSKPE)

Sussex MSK Partnership East (SMSKPE) manages the care of patients in East Sussex suffering from musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions – conditions affecting the bones, joints or muscles. The service uses a range of specialists who can assess and treat your condition. SMSKPE also provides care and support for rheumatology patients and those suffering with chronic pain. Patients can self-refer without seeing a clinician first.

They provide tools, motivational support and encouragement every step of the way, to help improve your health right away.


Pregnancy

Just found out you are pregnant? You will need to complete an online self referral form which you can access via the link below: Maternity Self Referral – East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (esht.nhs.uk) Your Community Midwife will then be in contact with you to book your first appointment.


 

 

 

The pelvic health physiotherapy team can help with problems that occur during pregnancy or after birth such as: pregnancy related Pelvic Girdle Pain, lower back pain, separation of tummy muscles, hip pain and rib pain. They can also help with problems at any stage in life such as bladder and/or bowel problems such as leakage of difficulty controlling them, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain.
