Named GP

Every patient registered at Groombridge and Hartfield Medical Group is allocated a named GP, or ‘Usual Doctor’ who is responsible for each patients overall care at the Practice. Patients are evenly distributed amongst our doctors  which may mean that you may be assigned a GP you have not seen recently.

Having a named GP does not mean that you are restricted to seeing only one doctor, or that they are the only doctor or clinician at the practice who can provide you with care. You are always welcome to see any GP or Nurse in the practice, availability permitting.

If you would like to know who your allocated named GP is, please contact the Practice. If you have a preference, please let us know and we will try to accommodate this request, but this may not always be possible.
