Over 91,000 people across Sussex are eligible for their spring COVID-19 booster but are yet to come forward.
Eligible groups for the Spring booster include:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in care homes for older adults
- individuals aged 12 years and over who have a weakened immune system.
The NHS will contact those who are eligible to make a spring booster appointment, so patients should wait until they hear from the NHS.
You will usually be offered an appointment around 6 months after your last dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Once invited patients will be able to book their appointments through the National Booking System either online or by calling NHS 119.
Full details on the COVID-19 vaccination programme in Sussex can be found on the Sussex Health and Care Partnership website.
