We operate a system of same day appointments, telephone appointments, and appointments that can be booked in advance. To request an appointment, please call the surgery on 01892 863326 during surgery hours.
Same day appointments are available everyday from 8am and 2pm.
eConsult
eConsult allows patients to submit their symptoms and make requests to a GP electronically. Through this service, patients can also request routine appointments, test results, sick notes, and letters. Once you submit an eConsult, it will be sent directly and securely to the surgery. Our Patient Services Team will then triage each eConsult and forward it to your GP, or to an on-duty GP if your requested GP is not available.

Extended Access Clinics
We recognise that it can be challenging to access appointments during weekday working hours. We offer pre-bookable telephone and face-to-face appointments with GPs and Practice Nurses at Hartfield Surgery every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, and one in six Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Appointments can be booked online or by calling the surgery.
Home Visits
A doctor’s home visit takes considerably longer than an appointment at the surgery. For this reason, home visits are reserved for patients who are genuinely housebound – those unable to attend either surgery without special assistance or transport, due to frailty, mobility difficulties, or illness that makes it unsafe to leave the house.
If you believe you need a home visit, please call the surgery as soon as possible after 8:00 am. Please give our team as much detail as you can, so the doctor has the information needed to assess your request.
