OPENING HOURS

We have made changes to our opening hours and surgery times from 5th April 2010. Full details are shown in the relevant sections below. Groombridge is now closed on Tuesday afternoons and Hartfield on Thursday afternoons.

SATURDAY OPENING

In response to a recent patient survey we will be providing some Saturday appointments from July as follows: -

Hartfield Saturday Opening

When: 1st Saturday of each month

What time: 09.15 to 10.45

Who: Dr James

Appointments: Each Surgery will have 7 appointments: 3 prebookable, 4 released 48 hours in advance and no phone calls will be taken during the surgeries.

Note: In the week before the 1st Saturday Surgery Dr James's Weekly Hartfield Wednesday evening 18.30 - 20.00hrs Surgery will be cancelled

Groombridge Saturday Opening

When: 3rd Saturday of each month

What time: 08.30 to 10.00

Who: Dr Wolfle

Appointments: Each Surgery will have 7 appointments: 3 prebookable, 4 released 48 hours in advance and no phone calls will be taken during the surgeries.


Note: In the week before the 3rd Saturday Dr Wolfle's early morning Groombridge Wednesday surgery 07.00 - 8.00am will be cancelled

HARTFIELD VILLAGE SURGERY
We are delighted to say that our new state of the art Hartfield Surgery opened on 4th November 2009. The Dispensary is open every day ecept Thursday afternoon and medication can be collected any time the Surgery is open

SWINE FLU VACCINATION CLINICS
We will arrange additional clinics for qualifying patients (see Pandemic Flu Section below) as required. Please telephone to add your name to the waiting list

SWINE FLU 
We are only able to give these to patients that fall in to the essential groups as defined by the Department of Health. Please ask at Reception if you are not sure whether you qualify for a vaccination.

If you think you have syptoms of the swine flu (see below), then please call the surgery.
(People who have two or more of the following symptoms and a temperature of 38° C and above or feel hot may have swine flu)

The typical symptoms are:
• sudden fever (a high body temperature of 38C/100.4F or above), and
• sudden cough.

Other symptoms may include:
• headache,
• tiredness,
• chills,
• aching muscles,
• limb or joint pain,
• diarrhoea or stomach upset,
• sore throat,
• runny nose,
• sneezing,
• loss of appetite)
